With a turnover of €3.1 billion, NGE is an independent French construction company involved in the design, construction and maintenance of major infrastructure projects, urban development programmes and local development schemes since 2002 in the UK.

NGE promotes a strong culture of social responsibility within the Group and in all its relationships. Its policy includes a very wide spectrum of stakeholders (clients, co-contractors, suppliers, etc.) committed to instilling or consolidating ethical values and behaviour within the corporate ecosystem.

In 2020, the CSR Committee set up a number of working groups to accelerate improvements in our performance and created four CSR priorities: Putting people first; Working to deliver the ecological transition; Developing our regional roots for the long term; Promoting a strong culture of corporate social responsibility.

The NGE subsidiary in the UK was created in 2002.  With our Head office based in London and numerous depots around the country. The company has over 100 employees with multi-disciplinary expertise such as fiber optic rollout, rail infrastructures and civils.

LCR Connect

Delivering a 212km full-fibre, ultrafast, gigabit-capable network infrastructure across the region, it will equip businesses, investors, universities, schools, hospitals, residents and students across the six local authorities to access next-generation, future-proofed and cloud-enabled technologies.

CRSA

The Central Railway Systems Alliance (CRSA) brings together the collective strength of the four parent companies – Atkins, Balfour Beatty, Network Rail, and TSO – to develop, design, and deliver rail systems renewals and railway enhancement projects across the large geographic regions of the North West and Central and Eastern regions, from London to the Scottish Border.
This alliance provides us the unique opportunity to be involved in the design and delivery of some of the UK’s most exciting rail systems renewals and enhancement projects, and the variety of work provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for exciting career development. The CRSA has a fully committed work bank and is contracted until at least 2029.

County Broadband Project

County Broadband appoint NGE as its civil engineering partner to lead the multi-million-pound investment in digital infrastructure in Norfolk.
County Broadband is building fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) infrastructure to 55 rural communities in Norfolk, including the Breckland, Broadland, South Norfolk and North Norfolk areas. A total of 20,000 rural premises will benefit from access to gigabit speeds and superior network reliability.
Scott Bicknell, UK Managing Director at NGE, said: “NGE is thrilled to collaborate with County Broadband as well as local communities and stakeholders. This project gives us the opportunity to deliver our mission of interacting with communities and leaving digital legacies.
We are fully committed to combining field experience with functional expertise to build these new networks which will have a positive social and economic impact, whilst enabling us to invest in the local economy and discover the local talent pools.”
